I have a 3 years contract with my current company in Geneva. As I am a Non EU, we went through the whole Work permit quot application for me to come to Switzerland. I got a one year work permit B from Oct 2010 to Oct 2011 when I arrived. It got renewed, and now I have another one year Permit B which expires on October 3rd, 2012.

In my permit it writes - Une activite independante est soumise a autorisation. Does it mean if my current work contract is finished, I will loose the Work permit automatically?

Actually I am thinking of changing company due to the fact that my company is moving to France. And I am not willing to move there.

So can I change employer with this current permit?

Or, my new employer will apply for another work permit for me? If so, the application will be a more simple one or will be the same one as the 'quota' system?

If to apply through a reputable big international company, the chances are higher or not?
