Im from non-eu country, Im here with L permit for almost 24months in Lausanne, just got a mail/notice without attaching a chart for another extension from foreigner office saying that i need to declare my leaving .

My company definitely wd like to keep me here, and will apply for a B permit for me. Im a bit worried and wondering if this mail is just a procedure saying i cant extend L permit any more, and i must apply for a b permit or I am not even allowed to apply for a B permit???

Any one had similar situation??? and what is the result? did u get a B permit in the end? and how long did it take? Do I have to go back to my country? Wd appreciate a lot if any one have similar situation gives a bit more information.
