I currently live in Geneva, and may have an offer to work in Lausanne.

I'm an EU citizen, and at present I'm on a B resident permit in Geneva. Does anyone know how the work permit issue would work in this kind of scenario, what with Lausanne being a different canton?

No issue, you will continue to pay Geneva taxes.

Would be highly recommended that you negotiate attractive compensation if you continue to reside in Geneva. Lausanne salaries are generally not as high as Geneva ; Lausanne has lower taxes and cost of living.

I guess it depends on the sector. I worked for six years in Lausanne and Geneva in a few jobs and both times the Lausanne salaries were significantly higher with no other factors in play (heightened responsibilites or whatever).

I work in advertising... I would hope to receive similar compensation in either location...
