| First of all thanks for your response.
1. as soon as you arrive here, you have to register at Kreisburo within one or two weeks ( corresponding to your place of residence) and then you will get an L permit for 12 months ( as your permit is approved for 12 months)
>> So Will this permit be stamped on passport or it will be just an ID card give to me?
2. Please carry your work permit (which will show validity of 12 months) and also employment contract from your employer to show that you will work in CH for 12 months.
>> Do u mean by the approval letter issued by migration office? both the documents (contract and approval letter) are in german so dont you think immigration department will not create any problem without return ticket? | |

1. New ID
2. I have just travelled from India on a single way ticket and showed my residence permit ( which was in German) and everything was fine.
however, I am not sure if same applies to some one entering for the first time. here are some of pointers from my side:
I would suggest get a letter from your company in English stating that you will work in CH for XYZ months. Also carry your work permit.
Has any one from your company travelled previously using a single ticket. ask them their experiences. speak to your company's travel office.
May be on your visa, some where it could be mentioned that you are travelling for work. check this out with consulate or embassy that provided you the visa.
finally, dont panic...this is quite a normal situation.. if you are still not sure, request travel office to issue an open ended return ticket.
