Visa for my mom & daughter

Hi all
I am an Indian and am being given a work permit for a 1 year project at Basel. I have a 7 month old daughter. I wanted to get her along & my mother to assist me. What visa will my mom & daughter be given. Can they stay for the entier 1 year with me?

Thanks
Pam

Re: Visa for my mom & daughter

Have you submitted the dependant visa applications?

If not, ask yoru HR department to help you with the process.

Your situation is complicated - if you were applying for a spouse plus daughter it would take some time (currently from 1 to 3 months) but would most likely be ok.

For your mother, I think you may have issues as this relationship would not normally be allowed with your permit type.

Actually on an L permit family reunion is generally, as in almost always, not allowed including daughter.
