EU Hungarian visa

Hi all, i try to find some info using search function but without success. So hopefully someone knows the answers.

I am EU (Hungarian) comming to CH in April, already find apartment and sign a contract starting from April 1st. My working contract starts at mid of April.

I already asked around about going to Gemeinde and register myself for permit.

What I dont know, what type of visa I will get? L or B?

Asking this because of my wife who is not EU will coming with me. And later we will apply for depend. visa for her.

If I understand it right:
If I got B visa-She can work here
If I got L visa-She can't work here

I don't know if type of visa depends of something eg:my working contract duration, sallary...

Thanx in advance, and sorry if there somewhere exist same/similar post like this.

Re: EU Hungarian visa

It depends on your contract, but assuming it's a permanent one for more than one year you'll get a B permit (not visa, that's something different). So she should also get a B as well. It won't include work rights initially, but if she finds a job she just needs to take her employment contract to the migration office to add the work part to the residence part.

It does not matter much, she can work even if you (both) get an L. Family members of EU migrants can always work.

This only applies to non-EU people. You are fine.
