I had an L permit, but where does it say so?

Hi, I was informed by the secretary that I had received an L permit, however in which paper does it say so? I have the Zusicherung and a letter from immigration, but I cannot find it. I had already registered at the the Kreisbüro and I do not see it in their papers either. Maybe I miss the German name. Thanks for the help.

Re: I had an L permit, but where does it say so?

On the top of the Zusicherung, it should say something like "Kurzaufenthaltsbewilligung". This is referring to the L permit.

You also need an actual permit (provided you're living/working in Switzerland for longer than 3 months) as neither the Zusicherung nor any other document are sufficient, they're just confirmations. There'll be an L on the actual permit.
