Permit needed for an outdoor gathering at ZH See?

Hello everyone

I am struggling trying to find the answer to this question\idea i have, and was hoping you fine folks could get me in the right direction!?

I would like to organize an outdoor gathering\jam session at the ZH See either this or next summer. I would arrange it through FB events and\or mailing list, there would be no money collected and it would be essentially a big acoustic jam session\bbq\hangout.

Would the same rules for a busker apply here? Until what number of guest would I NOT need a permit and since people would walk by and simply join, how would this number be determined? Would the invites send via FB consider the event size, or just the confirmed guests for the event? Or the physical bodies present?

I found an old post Busking permits in Switzerland? but unfortunately the links to the City documents aren't working. Does anyone have an up-to-date link where i could confirm the lake gathering rules?

Any info would be greatly appreciated and yes i know i could simply call the Police to enquire. I would prefer to not give them all my info\idea, find out I need a permit and then be in a tricky postion if I went ahead without one, and the boys in blue showed up. Im sure they would be happy to make some more CHF and I assume they would be pushing a permit for this idea. I see huge gatherings all the time at ZH See and i highly doubt anyone bothered with a permit. Although Im not sure where the line is here between a organized event and a simple gathering? I know there are many members here and regular events. Do you guys get a permit if you have say 100 people come down for a bbq?

Thanks so much for any info guys and keep up the amazing information flow here on English forum! It's a beautiful thing and i find almost EVERY answer to every one of my questions here

If this would be classed as a 'Jugendparty', perhaps this might help:

Hello

Thanks a million Melloncollie! Much appreciated

This is most def not a jugend party idea, but more a family, musician (older crowd) plan. I will contact the applicable offices and start the research.

Cheers
