The fact that you have a C permit here means nothing outside of Switzerland. All it does is allow you to live/work anywhere in Switzerland, but not in another country. Any employer in the UK or elsewhere in Europe would need to follow that country's non-EU hiring rules to be able to employ you.

The short answer -- that a Swiss C-Permit confers no right to work in the UK or any other country -- is right, though it might be relevant to note that non-EEA/Swiss nationals working for a Swiss employer may work for their employer in the UK for up to 90 days in a calendar year under the "posted worker" provisions of the free movement rules.
