Visitor visa to CH.
I know someone who has applied to visit Switzerland on a visitor visa.
The embassy gave a slip back for passport collection.
In this slip there is a field (Collection date OR wait for call) with a date for this month.
But, directly underneath there is a paragraph that states please do not contact the Embassy for information about the visa process during the normal 30 day time period and wait for our call if we need further documents. But, if there is a date given on the slip; then please come and collect your passport on the given date.
My question is this. Does what is written in the collection date field (OR wait for call) not contraindicated by what is written in the paragraph below (if there is a date given then come to the Embassy)?
I think just calling up on a day before and asking what to do next would
be fine? Either come the next day and collect the passport or wait for a call?
They make matters more complex by also writing that during the process, no communication would be entertained.
Thank you for any input.
