Non EU / Indian looking for fulltime job in Geneva

Hi,

I am indian, at present working as crane supervisor (automations) in middle east, having 15 years experience in crane field.
My elder sister is settled in Geneva holding B permi. I have been once to Geneva once on visit visa. My uncle holds c permi who works there for 20 years. Is there any possibility for me to get settled there. Pls advise.

Thanks

with regards.

Dont see a way for you. For occupations such as yours there are plenty of EU citizens available to do the job.

Permits for non-EUs are issued only for jobs where a EU citizen cannot be found after a fair amount of searching by the employer.

No, sorry. Kosti's right, there are plenty of Swiss/EU nationals who could do your job and they get priority over non-EU nationals. It costs employers time and money to make an application so they won't do it unless they have a really good chance of getting approval.
