Trying to Get L Permit - Help

Hello,

So I'm from the EU and came to Switzerland to find a job. I Don't have one yet but decided to apply for the L Permit which gives me 3 months to find a job. For now I'm living with my father, he works here for ages now. No problem here.

I need 2 photos, one copy of my ID, house rental contract copies and a declaration from the owners stating that they know I'm here, one health insurance proposal and there is comes my doubt:

- Written declaration that I don't have debt, or child support, or something like that.

Here it is the sentence in german: Nachweis finanzieller Verpflichtungen (Alimente, Schuld- und Darlehenszinsen etc.) oder schriftliche Erklärung, dass keine Verpflichtungen bestehen.

I don't have any obligation, never been married, never had a Loan of any kind, nothing... I mean, what do they pretend? Do I write it myself and sign it and that's it?

I hope someone knows what I'm talking about and helps me.

Have a nice Sunday. Thank you.

I have NEVER heard of them asking for that for an L permit. When I first came to Switzerland on an L permit, I had a loan in the UK I was still paying. Now on B permit I have a UK student loan, no one has ever asked me. What about people who have mortgages?

I think however, they just want you to self-declare by the sounds of it. So write it yourself.

Well, that's on the list so I suppose I need to take care of that.

However that's what I also thought but then again why bother asking in that case? If that's the case anyone could write something and self-declare them clean.

The difficult part now is writing that in german, I have no idea how to write that in a standard and formal way. I'll have to rely on google and ask for help to someone.
