Re: C Permit

Is your current permit due to expire and is it a B permit?
If you have been on a B permit for 5 years you should request a C permit when it is due to be renewed. As an Austrian national you will be exempt from the language requirement in canton Zug.
If you had an L permit t any time you may need to wait a little longer as L permits don't count towards the 5 years.

Re: C Permit

This Ct. Zurich document "Erteilung der Niederlassungsbewilligung" may assist you as an Austrian to determine the process:

Re: C Permit

You still need to ask for it, i.e. apply. You should have done so at least 2 weeks ago so get down to the migration office and get your request in. Otherwise they may think you've simply moved away and not de-registered as required if your B permit has run out.

You should have had a renewal form before now ( but maybe your gemeinde doesn't send them out automatically as they do here) and you should have gone to request one before the permit ran out if you hadn't received one.
The renewal should just be a formality but you need to get it sorted out as soon as possible.
