Opening cleaning service

So im a little confused. My aunt was thinking about opening a cleaning job in Zurich. We heard about Einzelfirma so one person in it, and there is no specified amount of money that you need for opening Einzelfirma. So now she was thinking to hire my cousin from Italy to work for her, she would give her 3300 fr per month. Is that posible? Does anyone has experience with that.

Re: Opening cleaning service

You should be able to hire someone, but make sure you register them at the kantonale Ausgleichskasse and that he has the required insurances.

With Einzelfirma, there is no minimum capital, but you have absolute liability. Here are the pro/cons.

Re: Opening cleaning service

Yes of course she does, if she's going to be living/working here.

She needs to apply to have her permit changed to a self-employment one and she also needs to draw up a contract for your cousin that meets the labour conditions. Bear in mind that as an employer she has certain taxes/insurances she has to pay as well as your cousin's wages.
