Re: Kita Praktikum

While it's just possible that someone might be able to understand you, might I suggest you have another go at writing it in more correct English?

It would depend on your nationality for starters but I'm not sure that a kindergarten internship position would be enough to obtain a residence permit.

Well Internship is also a job. You also get salary like everywhere. And you develop later as you want.

Re: Kita Praktikum [Swiss permit for kindergarten internship ]

A practicum is supposed to be a position for an untrained staff member, with an end-date (usually maximum 12 months) and the possibility of doing further training afterwards.

'interns' are paid around 1000-2000 per month. It is a training wage, not a living wage.

The only reason (in my book) that a childcare centre would pay 3500 for a 'trainee' is because the person is being used as a 'qualified' staff member but does not have the right qualifications, or they are a mature adult...it's a minimum adult wage, not a 'training' wage.

I do not know whether the local authorities will check the salary before approving a residence permit for EU, but for Non-EU I know someone who was knocked back for a qualified position for less than 4500 per month... The employer was told that 4500 was the bare minimum...

It also depends whether the 3500'is before taxes/deductions, and also whether it is 13 or 12 months...

Im asking for Practicum, i didnt know how to say it on english. But friend of mine was offered to do practicum in Spielgruppe, and they told her salary will be 3500 so i just wanted to ask if someone knows if she could get a permit based on that.

They told her that they look for someone for spielgruppe we only asumed that would be practicum because she has no diploma for that. But she haves skills with children.

Normaly every day for 8 hours.

That spielgruppe works every day for 8 hours. 2 groups, morning and afternoon

A friend of mine recently started working at a large confiserie here in Luzern (the one where everything is coloured bright pink, for the locals). Her salary is 3400 / month (full-time, 43 hours per week) and she got her permit-B without problems (Greek passport). This is a normal job (nothing to do with Praktikum).

This is to add to your comment on hiring non-EU employees (who are, in this case, considered "highly qualified") and not to contradict what you've written. According to this Vischer law firm document, it is expected that non-EU employees have a master's degree, professional experience and earn at least about CHF 100'000 (CHF 8'333 per month) to obtain a work permit under the "highly qualified" category. See pdf pp. 11-12:
