I am on a L permit and wanna bring my wife who is doing MBA from indian university for her two months summer training program here in swiss.

I wanna know on which visa is she allowed to do so.

will dependent visa be of any help ?

Not nearly enough information for a coherent answer. What training? Is it in industry or with a university? How long is the L permit for? etc etc.

And are you talking about this summer? If you haven't started the process yet then you might find the summer is over before you get anywhere.

Its for 2009 summer and the training is an industrial training. My L1 is valid for 2 years , so not a problem

If it's unfunded can she not do it on a tourists visa? I thought these were valid for 3 months?

Ya , thats what my doubt is , will she be able to do her summer project on tourist visa (thats valid for three months) as she wont be getting paid, It will be a summer project not job.

If yes ? then what about in the case of a Dependent visa , can she do the same on that as well.

Which takes less time ? ( I knw for dependent visa it takes upto 3 months(approx))
