Swisspassport holder, working in EU countries??

Hello i am an Australian with a Swiss passport. I would like to work in the UK... As an Australian i need a working Visa for UK, do i need one as a Swiss person. I have heard that there is an agreement between the two which allow Swiss to work without a Visa. Is this true??

It's not so much the strungout part that interests me . . .
