Henna and biometrics in zurich

Hi all,
My spouse is having her biometrics tommorow. She applied henna on her hands day before yesterday. Will it affect the biometrics process. Does any one have such experience. Kindly let me know. Thanks

If it's on her fingertips, then yes, it affects the image. Scroll to 1:56.

Can she remove it from the fingertips, and re-paint the spots post biometrics?

There are many reasons why you might need to retake biometrics, not just painted hands. I would call ahead and inquire from wherever you are doing the fingerprints, as they will be able to give you a precise answer. Otherwise, if this is not possible, in doubt I would remove it/repaint later.

It's not quite that easy to just remove henna

I know, I've had my hands/ arms painted before. But I think it's easier/less annoying than showing up to have your fingerprints taken, being refused, and having to come back another time.

Hi everyone.. Thanks for your response. Just went there today morning and the lady at the migration counter was really helpful. I told her about the henna and she smiled and said" lets try and hope it works". Lo and behold,it worked
