Is my permit sufficient for border crossing with france?

To save me carrying my passport everytime I cross the border..

Im guessing just carrying the B permit should be enough?

If you're from the EU an ID would be enough.

Permit ( B or C or others ) alone is NOT enough .... You need at least your official ID ( EU and Swiss ) or Passport .
