Russian with Italian work permit

Hi all!

I am Russian, living in Italy since 2000. For 5 years I had a permit for studying (I finished a BA in International Business). Now I have a two-year work permit valid until Nov 2007.

In March my boy-friend (a EU citizen) is moving to Zurich for work so I would like to join him there.

I have 2 questions :

1. It is easier for me, being Russian, but with Italian work permit, work legally in Zurich?

2. What are my chances to find a proper job there? I speak Russian, English, Italian, Spanish and good French. No German, but I can learn it

Thanks a lot for help!
Ciao

It is your nationality that is relevant. The fact that you hold an Italian work permit does not a)allow you to work legally in Switzerland nor b) facilitate your accession to a Swiss work permit

It is difficult to judge on your chances based on your languages only but the market is in an upturn so it should rather be easy than difficult. THe only hurdle being getting a work permit.
