Perhaps someone out there can give me some good advice.

We're relocating to Switzerland later this month for 16 months; my husband will be working for a Swiss based company. My husband is German and I am Canadian (with an unlimited German residence permit). I will not be working, however, am thinking about taking a few French classes.

Given that I am a phseudo-EU resident, do I need to apply for a Swiss permit? If so, how long can I stay in Switzerland before having to apply for a temp. residence permit?
