| Thats true as your company is located there. However I have seen cases where if a canton where you currently live recommends to the canton where you dont work, then they can give you the registration. Also your company may be able to help you. | |

| Hello
I am French and I am about to apply for a B permit.
My boyfriend leaves in Bienne.I am going to work in Geneva and planning to live with my b/f in Bienne. Now question : am I able to register for a B permit in Bienne where I am going to live or do I have to register in Geneva where I will work ?
Thanks, Julia | |

then your advice is incorrect.
A French citizen has the right to live in any Canton and registers where they live, not where they work. Furthermore, the company has nothing to do with it.
