Hi my husband is an american and we want to move to switzerland?can somebody tell us what kind of documents he needs?

The most important document you need: a job offer from a Swiss firm who are willing to sponsor your husband (or you) with a B-permit.

All other documents pale in significance as you cannot even think about moving here without the above. Given the current economic situation, it is quite a hurdle. I am American, living here for over 20 years, and am also looking for work (and I have lots of experience and speak German as well). I have never seen such a tough job market here, ever.

hmm does your husband have a Bulgarian passport?

If so you wont have much problem to come to Switzerland as Bulgaria belongs to the EU and Switzerland has a "Freizügigkeitsabkommen" with the EU.

If your husband does not have an EU passport he is counted as a person from a 3 country and will have more problems receiving a working visa. Or does he have already a job in Switzerland with a valid visa?
