I have question, concerning L-permit dependency for non-EU and hope to find the answer here.

The situation is: I am L permit holder and expect probably the permit to be extended very soon.

How the question with the L-permit dependency for my husband will look like?

For sure for non-EU the L permit with the right your family to stay in Switzerland is not granted by default.

The question is: should I inform the authorities in advance, before extending the current L permit, that we would apply for L-permit dependency for my husband, so they could consider that, and provide the proper L-permit?

When applying for dependant permit for my husband what documents do we need?

My husband's employer submitted the dependent applications with the work applications. We needed copies of passports, birth certificates for children, marriage certificate for spouse...

Only problem with L Non-Eu is that your spouse will not have a 'work permit'. I believe if it is a B permit then the spouse can work...
