Helllo!
I have been here already one month. I am from, so called new-EU country, so to me refers this strict rule, rather to my potencial employer, that it`s have to be prooved that employer haven`t found any other Swiss.
I am not a person who could be unreplacable. Basicly my knowledges is in psychology and I have good job experience with handicaped people and children. And some extra - I know russian language.
Now I am here as a tourist, but searching for a job. I have talked to a lot of employers and now last one was in one klinik - where they answered, that I need a B permit to work there.
So, but I am stucked, I can`t get a permit while I haven`t found any employer, but also nobody wants to take me, because they are not very excited to prove, that I am unreplacable.
And also I am applying for simple jobs: like restaurants, cleaning und other stuff.
Now I am starting to think that I should look for something where I don`t need any papers, maybe-babysitting or something like that.
What to do?
I want to stay here, and not because of the money, I have a swiss boyfriend here and we want to be happy here together.
Would it be easiere, if we marry?

You have almost no chance till 2011 1st march..im latvia..ta ka es nezinu vai rakstit krieviski vai latviski un kuraa valodaa tu runa tadel rakstishu angliski.
I didnt got the permit as well and i hade to return..its pretty much a small chance to get a normal permit if your Latvia... but if you really want you need to work as aupair or something...or merry..dont know..its you who decided..but yeap still some month to go in the dark side of the room and thn it should be easyer.

I am a Latvian in CH, too. There are some chances to work here officially (which might not be easier than the one, to wait until March), one is, to enroll in the university and find a job on the side of your studies (needs an extra permit then, but is not so difficult), the other one, to open up your own business. If it proves to be working, you will have a B permit for the extension of a few years
