Hi... ... i have a type of Visa "D" & i am gonna b here for jus over 3 months... & it's written valid for CH & it is multiple entry... so checked online & found the D type is valid across the schengen region.... but when i asked the travel agent in India he said u can only travel with this visa once u get a resident card... is this true & wht is a resident card & is it required for me to travel? ..... thanks

I would guess that after more than 4 years from his post he's sorted it out by now.

Try reading the date of the post next time and anyway, wtf has Canadian immigration got to do with anything?
