Hello,

I need to visit the UK on behalf of my company (which is in Switzerland) and need to apply for a UK business visitor visa as I am a non-eu citizen.

I was wondering if any of the Non-EU citizens have had any experiences applying for a UK business visitor visa. I have been trying to call the WorldBridge number without any success since the past two days...and need this information somewhat urgently..

- Is it better/quicker to apply online?
- Is the biometric fingerprinting process mandatory for even the 6 month business visitor visas? The consulate office in Zurich is closed - so I might need to make a trip to Bern, I guess..
- How long does it take to get the visa once the online application is submitted? I need to know this so that I can make my flight/hotel reservations accordingly (to allow enough time for the visa to come through)
