Hi,

I am from India and here in zurich on L-Permit .My wife has got a visitor visa which is valid for 3months but she has got only for 30 days.
I have heard that it is possible to extend it for total of 3 months.
I just want to check that what is the process for that.

What passport does your wife have? Is the visa multiple entry?

Yes it is multiple entry visitor visa

I don't get what you mean by the visa being valid for 3 months but she has only 30 days... Don't you mean it's valid only for 30 days?

And to answer your question, why don't you ask your Gemeinde authorities to help you and send the Swiss consulate in Mumbai/Delhi a confirmation that you will be able to support your wife for the 3 months she will be with you?

You can also visit migrationsamt.they will let u know if the extension is possible or not.
