I am an Indian and am in Switzerland on a L Work Permit. I am planning to go back to India in the 3rd week of November. I would like to know whether there is any restriction in getting a work permit approved after I surrender this current Work permit. That is, is there any time restriction which is put on a migrant for his re-entry into Switzerland on Work permit?

After you surrender your permit, you are again at the back of the queue, that is for a new permit you have to go through the same process that happened the first time.

may be there is a restriction that you have to wait for atleast 3 months before you can re-enter but I am not 100% sure on this. may be the veterans would give you a definite answer.

I wrote a mail to immigration office.Let's hope I get a positive reply today.
