Permit B status after seperation

I am a non EU citizen, have been married for 3 years & 9 months, have one kid, just gone through separation (not divorce) & received the separation judgment from court recently.

My last permit status was B for for 3 years which end October 2010.

I would like to know what will be my rights / status of permit now, will i get it extended next time, also will i get a permit C next time i renew?
