Traveling using kurzaufenthaltsbewilligung (L)

Hi.

I am a South African. I live here with my Fiance. I recently got my (L) permit in Basel on condition that I marry my Fiance within 9 months. I may not work but can live here.

Am I allowed to go into germany etc on this as they are all part of the chengan (spelling) treaty or do I need to get a visa for each country? I went to my local authority but hit a language barrier and all I could gather from it was that I needed to keep the card with me at all times.

Any help would be great thank you.

Craigh

You can travel to all schengen countries as long as your permit is valid during that travel period
