non EU Move to Switzerland ??

Hello Everyone

I'm a non EU citizien. I have a bachelor in computer engineering from an italian university and now im finishing the Msc. in Germany for information technologies. In Germany I can take a one year visa to look for a job after I receive my master. I am really tempted from Switzerland ... and i would like to move there. After my university is a little tough for me since if i cant find a job i should return to my home country. In Germany or Italy i could even find a job and have no problems for documents but do you think is risky to apply and accept any job offer in Switzerland ? I mean are there chances that they for a simple reason (or just because they find a local worker later)just ban my documents and everything ? In that case i would have to return immediately and loose a lot.

And in my case (non EU with this German 1 year visa to look for job)
which would be the steps for Swiss documents ? My origin country is Albania.

Im sorry if it might not be a very precise question but I would like to know your opinion or even your experiences.

Thank you in advance for any answers.

Re: non EU Move to Switzerland ??

As you are already in the Schengen area you have the advantage of being reasonably available for interviews etc and that can make quite a difference. If there are suitable local or EU candidates then non-EU tend to get filtered out before the interview process so any that ask you to interview have already done the filtering.

I'd say go for it but also look at jobs in Germany in case nothing comes along in Switzerland.

Re: non EU Move to Switzerland ??

Thanks for your answer

I actually could also find a job there and have had some interview possibilities ... but the thing that im most afraid of is once i have only swiss documents and my Italian and German documents are expired then ... from what i read in the forum it seems that there are chances that they for any small reason tell my employer that he didnt look well for local workers ..etc and create problems. A certain scenario is not common here in Germany or Italy once i get a job. And in that case i should leave immediately Switzerland or i have some extra time to look for new job ? I'm not sure if also in Switzerland this is common but from what i read ... there seem to be cases like this.

I appreciate any help ...

Re: non EU Move to Switzerland ??

Not sure where you got that idea from. You can only move get Swiss documents once you have a job and work approval so the question doesn't arise.
