Hello everybody,

I am a Chinese student in the US. I am about to finish my PhD in this summer and will then go to Switzerland for a post-doc. I have a question regarding the visa application.

Can my wife apply for a family reunion visa at the same time as I apply for my own visa and work permit (type B)? It will be really great if we can go to Switzerland together.

I see this is a bit different from the situations described in several previous threads, where the husbands (sponsors) have already been in Switzerland for a while and want to invite their spouses to join them.

Any help will be appreciated.
