I'll be moving to Switzerland sometime September of this year to finally marry and settle down with my girlfriend of four years. Being that she is swiss, I am not really worried about getting a work permit through an employer.

I would like to know how long it will take before the permit comes out after married and how can I search for an accounting job now before I move to Switzerland. BTW I have a bachelor's degree in accounting with 3 years of general ledger accounting, auditing and management consultancy.

Welcome to the site Ali. You could start sending your CV before you move that way you'll get a feel for the job market. Getting a permit should be a formality so just be on the ball with filling in all your forms. I'm sure your Swiss wife will be aware of the ins and outs.
