True doropfiz. My understanding is the 5 year rule applies so long as both people are living in Switzerland so he would still be financially responsible for her even if the relationship breaks up and she continues to live here and assuming she doesn't get an independent permit of her own somehow.

I was in the Migration office st.gallen. Unfortunately, it is possible only for Eu citizens. Since i am a non-Eu citizen we cant do that partnership agreement.
