Swiss Passport after birth
Anyone know what the rights of a child born in Switzerland are when the parents arre not swiss and only in the country on a working visa?

Your child needs to get a passport issued from your home country...so talk to your embassy/consulate general...

If neither parent is Swiss, the child is not born Swiss and will not get a Swiss passport. The child will have the citizenship of the parents. You will need to get your child a permit as well, though.

Yep just read the sites above and thats pretty much it. If the parents arent swiss they are not entitled to a swiss passport or citizenship.
