I have swiss visa valid from 26/03/07 until 25/06/07 ( valid for 3 months). I have entered Switzerland at Geneva airport on 02/04/07 and leaving Geneva on 01/07/07. People told me that as I have entered on 2nd April the Visa is valid until 2nd July. As I am leaving on 1st July I think there will be no problem.

Is it correct? Or I have to do anything for extending my Visa. For convenience I am attaching a copy of my Visa.

I'm glad that you've not managed to attach a copy of your visa.
If it says it's valid until 25th June, that's when validity expires. To give you an example, if you did not use your visa and tried to use it next year, would you say it's valid for three months next year? Nope.

Your visa expires on the 25.06.07. Therefore, you will have a short illegal stay in Switzerland. Therefore, you should extend your visa.

If you get the wrong border cop on the wrong day you could find yourself fined and / or barred from returning to Switzerland .

It actually depends on the visa you'll get, rather than your application. If you are lucky, may be you get it for 15 days, meaning you are covered.No one can answer based only on the application.

The visa is valid until day.month.year

What's difficult in understand until when the visa is valid ?

What makes things difficult to understand is the following anecdote which I swear is true:

An Iranian Jewish businessman sold his business for $millions and fled Iran when he saw Khomeini kissing Arafat.

As his business had involved trading with the UK and Norway he had multiple entry business visas for the two countries. He shuttled back and forth between the two, never overstaying. Until one time he fell ill and could not travel. In those days, passports were checked on departure from the UK. A young female border policeperson saw he'd overstayed and rudely asked just why this was so. He said he'd been ill and she asked where he'd been staying. He took out his invoice from the Churchill Hotel, which showed he'd paid £25,000 for meals and lodging -- he'd stayed long enough so that VAT had been refunded.

The young woman said "It's been nice to have you here Mr. X, come back soon."

(In those days, in the early 1980s, £25k was still a lot of money. Now I guess it's chump change.)
