| | | Re: Pet Sitting Network | Quote: | | | | | Hi all! We would LOVE to be involved with a pet-sitting network, as we have two adorable animals of our own..
Your pet
Type of animal: dog
Breed - black labrador
Age of animal - 2.5
Animal spayed? - no
Gender - female
Your environment
House - House large
Garden? - yes normal size, with miles of walking/forest trails next door
Any other pets? - yes 1 cat
Your location - Rotkreuz, Zug
our preferred sitter just canceled for next weekend, so we would love to find someone to watch our loving, house-trained lab for us from Thu night DEc 16 to Monday night Dec 20. We will gladly reciprocate! She's a sweetheart, and very good with kids. Never barks or bites.

Great idea
We have just moved to Wollishofen, Zurich and we're going to transport our cat here the beginning of next year. | | | | | Thanks Yulie for your generous help this Christmas time - First time I could truly disconnect and enjoy being away as I knew my little ones were in caring hands
Happy New Year everyone!

Hi everyone, I've created a poll and am intending to organise a monthly dog walk for everyone who has signed up for this network. This might allow us to find potential/future swaps, expand our canine network, or simply let the dogs run around and socialise with each other
Appreciate any feedback or additional ideas on there. Pet Sitting Network Zurich Dog Walk | | This user would like to thank summerrain for this useful post:

This is a great opportunity for everyone interested in this network, and havent met up with other fellow dog owners, to come and hopefully ascertain if there are good matches in your home environments, f you ever need a sitter.
I am trying to make this a monthly thing if there is sufficient interest. Look forward to meeting some of you and your furry friends.

I introduced my lovely Cocker Spaniel a few posts ago... now it is getting urgent.
Is there someone who would like to take care of him from 24th - 31st march? We are located in Lachen SZ / Oberer Zürichsee....
He is 10 years old and easy with other animals. He is very friendly and likes anyone, enjoys to go for a walk.....
If you are interest, please contact me - I would like to return the favour.

Hi folks,
I have a dilemma. I am finally going to arrive in Basel, but because of the poor timing with my visa being approved and my start date in Basel, it is impossible to find a temporary housing that will allow my dogs.
Does anyone know if there is a kennel in the Basel area that will accept or board my dogs before I have had a chance to register them at a local veterinarian?
Or... would anyone be willing to pet sit for a month while I look for a permanent place to live?

With the wording of one of my posts on this Thread I'm obviously partly guilty that it is off-topic too much.
This Thread is for Questions and Comments about the pet Sitting Network only.
There is a Pet Sitting Network for folk prepared to look after other folks' pets on a mutual benefit basis.
There is the Pet Trading Post if you are looking for a sitter for your dog or other pet at a specific time.
There is a Pet Boarding Thread with recommendations for places for Boarding Pets.
Those of you joining the Pet Sitting Network - the idea is that you are 'active' and go through the posts looking for 'partners'.
If this goes right off-topic again, I'll have to keep coming back and deleting (which wastes your time as well as mine)
Back on-topic please
