| | | Rat babies, FREE to a good home
Hello all,
I bought 3 new rats from the pet store and 2 days later one gave birth to 10 babies so I now have 15!
They are only one week old and I am not sure of the genders yet but I am putting the feelers out there. They will be ready to go at 6 weeks, I don't want to sell them I just want to make sure they have a good home.
You can see the pics of the babies here http://www.flickr.com/photos/huntersdesigns/
If anybody is interested or knows anybody, please let me know. They will also only go as pairs or more, or single if you already have other rats.
Thanks for taking a look |

Course I'd have to raise them a bit first.

Rats are perfect pets.
They are clean
They are intelligent
They eat everything
They don't bark
And they help keep the MIL away from the house | | The following 9 users would like to thank k_and_e for this useful post: | |

Yes I already had 2.
Thanks to everyone else for the replies, I guess this forum isn't the right place to find good homes for them.

Have faith, Lou. People are just looking to poke some fun. I'd say this is a great place to post it if you can tolerate the "humour". The niche market surely exists and I'm sure someone will be interested (as long as you keep them free).

Someone who wants them as feeders, someone who only wants to keep 1, rats need to be in pairs or above. Also someone who doesn't want to have them as toys for their cat.

I would rather they will be re-homed as taking them back to the pet store is my last option.
