I've had cats all my life, and without fail they've all hated getting wet | | The following 7 users would like to thank Castro for this useful post: | |

I've had cats which have mimicked my behavior over time, two or three of them used to tinkle in the potty, so maybe the one in the video is mimicking the humans by showering?
I also though used to have a cat that would sit at the edge of the tub while I was bathing and dandle his paws in the water and play with the ripples he made (which of course created more ripples).
Not all cats "hate" water... many do "hate" to be forced to do something though, so water on his/her own terms I can see.

My two cats back in the UK were the loopiest creatures I have ever encountered. Among their strange behaviour was their reaction to water. Girl cat used to do the same as Peg's cat and sit on the bathside playing splash whilst I was in there and boy cat used to climb into the bath while I was running it and lounge in it on his back
I can tell you it gave me a fright the first time I got in and nearly sat on the blighter!!!!

Hee hee... I love it when an otherwise completely innocent thread somehow turns naughty. |

That's too cute. I would love to have a cat but unfortunately I travel too much for that. I have a cat in Buenos Aires that lives with my parents, i miss him!
