Well if we weigh up the two:

fireworks two/three days of the year

Vs

babies screaming and being a disturbance 300+ days of the year (that's prov being generous too)

I think the baby owning parents get their fair dues, no?

Blowing up noisy devices in the middle of nowhere may not disturb people but would certainly scare any wildlife!

Perhaps the solution would be for people to be allowed to have some noisy fun on one or two days per year but respect peace and quiet the rest of the time?
