| I went to a dog school with him once when he was around a year old and he didn't obbey at all, he saw all these dogs and just wanted to play...created quite a huzzle there..the trainer knew nothing about Great Danes and told me I needed a special trainer, he couldn't help. I thought that was rather disappointing. | |

I don't know much about Danes, so am hesitant to recommend a specific trainer. But you might contact the Deutcher Doggen Club, the breed club for Danes within the Swiss SKG, for advice as to a 'Dane Savy' trainer.

You might also try these folks for advice:

This is a rescue in Germany with a special focus on helping Great Danes. (They rehome other breeds, too.) These folks know their stuff. They are in southern Germany, so they may know of a 'Dane savy' trainer not too far from CH.
And while not Dane-specific, you could to to Certodog for a trainer recommendation:

Our trainer trained through Certodog; I like her style, have a great deal of respect for her - which is a good recommendation for the Certodog program.
