Just booking my Xmas Channel Tunnel back to Blighty with dog and saw that as of Jan 1st 2012 it is no longer compulsory to have the tick/worm treatment performed 24/48 hours prior to entering the country. The recommendations are that is still advisable- but one suspects the stringent timings will now no longer exist. Personally, I am relieved that this stress has been removed from the whole travelling back to UK process- we have had many problems over the years working out when we can leave- all dependannt on when we could get to see a vet.
Personally, I would continue to monitor things prior to travelling- hope this site helps.
