Re: Missing cat

Oh dear shazzles, how worrying for you. Is she an indoors cat who ventured outside? There is a history of happy endings on EF regarding missing cats - see this thread.

Wishing you a similarly happy outcome.

Then I am guessing that she escaped through an open window. Hopefully she is sheltering somewhere, having been scared at finding herself in unfamiliar territory. I suggest you check with all your neighbours who have garages, basements, etc, where she may have sought shelter and found herself locked in. Best of luck.

Re: Missing cat

if she is chipped, check with local animal shelters (Tierheime) and also contact the Zurich animal hospital. (Zürcher Tierspital http://www.tierspital.uzh.ch/index_en.html)

good luck....

Re: Missing cat

I too have been through this awful experience, thankfully our cat turned up, he had accidently been locked in a car inside a garage for a month (!). He survived, miraculously. Ask neighbours again to check all their sheds, outhouses, garages, summerhouses etc, I too think she will be hiding as she isn't used to the outdoors.
Good luck, keep looking, there is always a good chance that your beautiful cat will be found.

Good idea to check with the local vets as she is chipped!

One of many cases ( from another forum ) - hopefully yours is reunited quickly...

Re: Missing cat ( now FOUND! )

So pleased that she turned up safe and well. It's always nice to see a happy ending.

Just one thing though. If those are your phone numbers on the missing poster it might be a good idea to remove it from your post now that she's been found.
