Porcupine vs English Bulldog

I read this article in the Daily Mail about a very lucky 3 year old English Bulldog named Bella who ended up with 500 quills stuck in her face and didn't get any in her eyes.

Wonder if the porcupine has any quills left in it now

Re: Porcupine vs English Bulldog

Back when we used to spend our summers in Vermont, bringing the dogs (German Shepherd, Malamute) to be de-quilled was a yearly event, they always think that next time it will be different.

At least the Malamute could kill a skunk without getting sprayed, something our previous dogs could never do!

Re: Porcupine vs English Bulldog

somewhat off topic.. (hey I'm allowed !! ) ... I was about 8 years old camping with my family up in Bar Harbor Maine, and a skunk got into a fight with a porky-pine over a cooler full of food.

it was amazing.. the two of them cleared out about 6 campsites.

That would have been a fight to see....I wonder if they made up if this would have been the result

I think you'll find that is a leopard. Well, certainly not a cheetah, anyway.

ummm... he was a cheetah in real life but the chimp slept with the producer and won the part in the movie / TV versions.

You can lead a horse to water, but a pencil must lead.
