Re: Sad day - cat with cancer

So sad to read about your cat. We lost our dear Cinders 3 years ago in similar circumstances. She was as black as yours is white, and a real character. I still miss her and still have a shock when out of the corner of my eye I see something black somewhere on the floor - I think it is her, and it all comes back again. Thinking of you, and feeling for you....

Re: Sad day - cat with cancer

July 18, 1998 – December 3, 2012

We had to say goodbye to our little girl today after nearly 15 years together. We’ll miss finding her white hair on everything, her little hairball surprises, and our regular morning games of ‘dodge the barf’.

We’ll also miss her snuggled up with us on the bed, sitting beside us on the couch, rubbing around our ankles and sunning herself on the porch. She was a good little friend.

A special thanks to the team at the Kleintierpraxis Sevogel, who were great throughout a really tough process, and to everyone on here -- the support has been really helpful.

This is too sad for words, I am so sorry for you and your family (and her sister). Thanks for sharing her final journey with us. Those photographs of her are heartbreakingly poignant - she is speaking with her eyes.

Re: Sad day - cat with cancer

I am so very sorry.

Although she had to leave you far too soon, she will forever remain in your heart.

Through the sadness, may you take comfort in those 15 years' of memories, in the joy and laughter she brought you and your family.

It was indeed a wonderful life.

My condolences to you and your family - wishing you all the very best.

And you were to her as well.

I am very sorry for your loss.
You are lucky to have had 15 years together with so many wonderful memories.

I hope her sister is okay, she too has lost a friend. I really enjoyed the photo you posted of her jumping on the desk and pawing at the computer screen. Thanks for having the courage to share this experience.

Oh, I'm so so sorry to hear your sad news. She was so beautiful. You were obviously extremely fond of her.
Sending you and your family a big hug, and a cuddle for your other cat.

Re: Sad day - cat with cancer

For the last couple of weeks, I had my heart pumping faster everytime I saw this thread being jumped. I was scared to find out about La Demoiselle.

My heart goes with you as today was the day. You will remember her for ever and miss her deeply. Time will make it less painful but the souvenirs will stay in your head and your heart. My best gal Toutoune left us last spring and I still miss her deeply.

I wish you the best to pass through this tough time and I send an extra super long cuddle to her sister left behind.

RIP.

Nil
