Re: Kennels in Zug/Walchwil area

Is your dog good with other dogs, can he/she live happily in a group?

If so, VI Dogs in Morgarten:

http://www.vidogs.ch

The dogs live in 'Rudelhaltung' with the family, not in kennels, and they have access to a large purpose-built garden. VI Dogs is very popular, so there are often many dogs in residence at one time - yours must be comfortable in a group.

Now - mine do not go there (because mine need something different) but I know the owner through our Hundeschule. You would need to check the set-up out for yourself to make sure that what they offer fits your dog's needs.

Susanne Olm, the owner, holds the FBA and so is compliant with the TSchV.

What is your lovely dog? Does she like the comoany of other dogs? Can she be left for short periods? Asking so many questions as my dog sitter may be able to help. I can give you her details.

thanks both of you. mine is not so comfortable in a group - he walks with a dog walker here along with another dog ot two no problems at all/loves them, but being unsupervised with other dogs, i am not so sure is ok. He can be left for periods of time, just would not want him to be alone all night.

If he's not a big dog my dog sitter might be able to help. She just takes one dog at a time mostly and they live with her in her apartment. They get lots of walks and love.

Hundi Hotel in Malters. Awesome location. Dogs are walked for hours daily in the forest. Owner is Swiss but speaks perfect English (lived in the US for years).
