Playgroup

Hey guys!
I'm fairly new to Zürich and I'm looking for a play date for my chihuahua.
I would like to get her to socialise more with other dogs as she's still quite young (5 months) and I think it would be good for her. I get really awkward trying to approach other people with dogs because sometimes they just want to be out having a walk and not be disturbed.
Medium or smaller breeds would be best so they could play together but I'd love her to meet some bigger dogs too (as long as they're good with smaller dogs) so she can learn not to be afraid of them.
I know about the park close to sihl city but I'm slightly scared of taking her there alone as there are so many other dogs there.
Anyone here in the city looking for a dog meet up?? Around 8001?
Let me know ))

Re: Playgroup

I have a dog meeting group on meetup. Right now we have a break cause my dog is in heat, but hopefully this will be over next week.

Re: Playgroup

If you can't find a playdate for your dog here, I would suggest you try to find one on the Tierforum. (in German). Glocals and Meetup used to have regular hiking / walking meet-ups for dog owners, so that's worth considering as well. Good luck

I might've seen your ad on MeetUp but yeah I didn't find any future dates so I decided to give it a go here. I'd love to be able to go to one of your meet ups once your lady is off heat. Could you please let me know? I'm sorry for the trouble but id love to take part in that

Hey thanks for sending that link, only problem is I still can't read in German so it's kinda difficult for me. But it seems like a great forum.
Thanks

Welcome to Zurich! There is an off-leash area for dogs at Zurichhorn close to the Chinese Garden in Seefeld. It is not usually very crowded, and there is plenty of space for the dogs to run and play.

You can also check out a dog daycare place on Frohlichstrasse called Paw Spa. The dogs there are 15kg or smaller, and they are all used to being around other dogs.

I've scheduled a meeting for next Monday, should be enough time for her to be over with the heat. I hope you can make it
