hi! we have recently decided to take a kitten from the litter of a friend. YAY! so happy to have a fluffy friend. well, we decided now that two is better than one, and we want to bring a little friend into the mix so they can be companions. does any one know of a place in lausanne that is the equivalent of a shelter for abandoned animals?

Doesn't your friend have a brother or sister from the same litter ?

I'd try the local newspaper though, an autumn kitty from a cozy home can be easier than an abandoned one. (I know, not easy to say.... if I could I'd have a menagerie and a farm with loads of animals)

Keep an eye on the Tierschutz database... you can search by a number of critieria, including canton.

But don't let distance stop you if you see a good match for your cat outside your area - a number of rescues rehome throughout Switzerland.
