Nocturnal cat drivez hoomins crazies

Apologies for the lolcats-inspired thread title
Our little Lollipop is driving us crazy at night. Before we moved, she would go out all night (we could put her in and out the kitchen window as it was ground level) and she would be waiting to come in every morning. Since we bought our flat, the only window which is as easily accessible is our bedroom window. However, since she knows we're there and can see us, she claws at the rubber seal of the window to get in. Not only are we worried about any damage (minimal so far), but it makes one helluva racket. Once we concede and let her in, she will scratch the whicker linen basket, miaow VERY loudly and scratch at the kids' bedroom doors, again damaging the rubber seals. Thankfully, she hasn't touched the brand new leather sofa...yet. Occasionally she will settle down to sleep at the end of the bed, but not always. If we put her out and the window shutter right down, she tries to climb through it .
Any ideas on how to deal with this? I've thought about a catflap in our bedroom window, but I know she will not use it to get out and will come straight back in again if we put her out forcibly, the little minx. We all love her dearly and she really is a fluffy cute thing with a lot of character, but sometimes at 4 am I really feel like booting her up the jacksy .

When I was over to the home of my brother-in-law recently I saw that their upstairs-neighbor had built a cat ramp from the ground to their terrace (1st floor, b-i-l is on entry floor)... would something like that work for you?

Then you could put a cat flap in the terrace door (or a window besides bedroom if you can put the ramp to that) for the cat to come in and out.

We could do that for the living-room window I suppose (it's at a low 1st floor height), but I still think she would be reluctant to use it to go out and if we lock it to stop her coming in, she just revert to scratchin at our window. Should we just bite the bullet and not let her in, hoping she see the fruitlessness of it? Ideally we want her to stay out all night, after all, she spends most of the daytime asleep under our bed anyway .

Seems to me that your little mischief might be attention seeking. She wants to stay with you or inside all the time and there could be more than on reason to this:

1. Since you might have moved recently, she might still be insecure at the new place
2. she feels scared or cold outside at night ... I would too
3. she needs company... get her a friend so they can play together and cuddle up together.

Why do you want her to sleep outside all night if during the day she is allowed in al the time? I think she is confused and feels its a punishment that you put her out
